For those of you who have joined us in the Twittosphere over the last 18 months, you will know we run a monthly chat with @PRCoUK, our sister agency. Crowd-sourcing and sharing opinions and insights with the wider #LuxVox community has become something of a monthly highlight for us. We’ve talked about food trends (we’re extremely good at that) with the likes of Master Chef, we’ve looked at the best city escapes with gurus Secret Escapes, looked at family travel, sustainable travel, shared nuggets of London wisdom with @LondONtheinside and dreamt of faraway places with Sunday Times Travel. And now we’ve demanded a bit more attention on the bits we like best. The geeky bits. The cool sites. The bits that get us ticking. And we’ve asked SEO agency, Red Effect, to join us, to share the love, and to give their side of the story.
Working in an industry that is constantly keeping us on the edge of our seats, we like to think that we know how to offer each and every one of our clients the best solutions for their needs. With a predominant focus on the luxury hospitality industry, we hope each month to contribute something of our experience and wise words to #LuxVox. And what a community it has become. With millions of impressions made every month and participants ranging from our media contacts and clients, to bloggers, to industry and travel leaders, we are keen to hear how everyone slots into this mad digital world. So what better way than to kick start 2015 than by tackling the question head on: where will digital take us travellers in the next 11 months? We ended last year with some very relevant questions, so we hope we can follow on where we left off…
We have put together a set of questions to tackle some of the latest digital trends and source opinion on what will and what won’t take off in the world of travel. We are all building websites and apps that allow you to book on your phone, but do you really convert on the move? Where do you go to get your travel inspiration? Can hotels bridge the gap between more traditional blogs and more ephemeral channels such as Snapchat? Where is video going this year? These are just some of the topics we’ll cover during the hour.
If you’ve not joined us before, make sure you save the date:
Thursday 29th January, 1pm, here.
You’re in for an hour of fun and inspiration.
See you on Thursday.
